Giving disadvantaged children a happier childhood.

Founded by Mrs. Gaynor Rupert in 2001, The Imibala Trust provides children and youth from vulnerable and disadvantaged backgrounds with the support, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive. Through education and enrichment programmes, Imibala aims to remove barriers to give every child the chance to grow with confidence and hope for the future. 

Imibala’s flagship Sponsor-a-Child uniform programme provides full school uniforms to children in need, helping keep learners in school. Since Imibala’s establishment, over 25 years ago, more than 96,000 children’s lives have been transformed with the Trust’s support.
